Muhammad Hassan Bin Abdul Rahman
With his deep and wide background in Islamic knowledge, Ustaz Muhammad Hassan bin Abdul Rahman has served as a Translator in the Shari’ah Court of Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, he has also led new converts in Hajj, incorporating his expertise and proficiency regarding the pillars of Islam.
He studied Business Administration at Singapore Polytechnic Business School, and was thereafter offered a scholarship by the Saudi Arabian Government. He then pursued and earned his degree in Shari’ah Law with First Class Honors from Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia and completed high school in Shari’ah studies from Islamic University of Madinah High School, Saudi Arabia. He has also memorized the Holy Qur’an in the Prophet’s Masjid, Al Masjid An-Nabawi in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and Qur’an Memorization School in Taif City, Saudi Arabia.
Ustaz Hassan spent eight years in Madinah and has acquired various experiences that equipped him with the skills and competence to teach Qur’an memorization, Arabic, and the English language. Furthermore, on his return to Singapore, Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) and the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) recognized him as a scholar, which opened many doors for him to reach out and contribute to the Muslim community in Singapore.
Presently, he is the Managing Director of Hastras Pte Ltd (HASTRAS). Ustaz Hassan is also an active lecturer, with his lectures mostly tackling matters and discourse that concern Islamic enquiries.
